What is a Phil?
The Phil Lewellin award (The Phil) sets out to encourage creativity in young people interested in telling a story of motoring, cars and travel.
It’s been established by the Midland Group of Motoring Writers in memory of one of our founder members, Phil Lewellin, and reflects the joy he brought to readers worldwide with his tales of travelling by car.
